SPRING IS IN THE AIR AND IT'S THE PERFECT TIME TO BEGIN A NEW FRIENDSHIP!!! Current Events & Fundraisers Alder Hill Farm is excited to announce we have been invited to participate in the C-10 Fundraising Project! All participating rescues must provide a minimum of 2 sponsors each month. Each sponsor must make a $10.60 donation that the rescue then submits to the C-10 program! A sponsor may commit to a one-time donation or a monthly donation. The C-10 program allows all of the donations to be combined and divided equally among the 10 participating rescues! This will allow your contribution to be matched several times over and help many horses across the US!!!! Please send your donation via Paypal to info@alderhillfarm.com as a personal gift so the rescue is not charged a fee! All sponsors will be listed on the C-10 page on our website and at savedahorses.org! Thank you for your support!!!
Our newest arrival, the lil guy (5 year-old grey mini gelding).
Would you like to name him? All donations of $2 or more will include an entry into a raffle to name our latest rescue!!! (he was literally 15 minutes from being put on the slaughter truck to Canada. Here is the youtube video made by Ac4h (a local rescue group that helped us save the lil guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgScfsIw0YI Our horses have been raised in an unique "natural herd" manner. All of the horses have been allowed to run together as a large herd since 1st coming to our farm in 2004 as 6 month-old foals. These horses have had limited, but only positive, interaction with humans. They are all very gentle, trusting and well-mannered. In addition, we only employ natural horsemanship techniques on the farm. All of the horses are scheduled to be sent to Scott Litherland, a natural horsemanship trainer that specializes in mustangs. All horses are available to be adopted as halter-trained only or saddle-trained with a minimum of 30 days training! Become a Friend of Alder Hill Farm on Facebook and see training videos, pictures and updates! As a non-profit organization we depend on your donations to help us care for those who can't care for themselves. If you wish to make a tax-deductible donation to help feed and care for the horses until they are adopted please click on the Contact Us button for our information! |
